I'd like to install my Clarion DRX6675z deck in my 1985 190e. I don't really understand the 190e wiring harness, can someone help me out, maybe with a wiring diagram or explanation. I have the harness for my clarion deck.

Would it be better to run all new speaker wire, or use the existing wire?

It would be alot better if you ran all new wires and bypass the fader switch, but if your not capable of the job, then dont do it.

Heres the wire colors on the 190.
Memory (+12v Constant) Red
Ignition (+12v Switched) Black/Yellow
Ground (-) Brown
Illumination Gray/Blue
Dimmer (none)
Power Antenna Blue

S p e a k e r s
Right Front (+) Black/Green
Right Front (-) Black
Left Front (+) Black/Red
Left Front (-) Black
Right Rear (+) Black/Green
Right Rear (-) Black
Left Rear (+) Black/Red
Left Rear (-) Black

Just match up the wires from the headunit to the factory wires. You will need to splice them tho, unless you buy a wiring harness from crutchfield.com like the one pictured below.
