Headunit replacement in a 450SL 6.9

My girlfriend has a big old 450SL 6.9 4 door, i didn't have access to the car at the time to find out what the headunit is and what the chassis number is, but I was wondering if anyone could give me pointers on how to do it. It is a surprise for her i wanted to get it done she loves my system and now wants one herself.

The car is completely standard so, if anyone can write me the few main pointers i should be able to tae it from there.

Cheers.

The 6.9s came equipped with a Becker Mexico Casette deck. Removal of this unit is easy....

1. Pull black knobs off dial.
2. Remove fader and sensitivity selectors (just pry off).
3. Faceplate will now come free of chassis.
4. The chassis is held in with two "pressure" clips with 10mm securing bolts. Take the 10mm bolts out and remove the two pressure clips.
5. Pull radio chassis out.
6. You will see a thick grey cable on the back of the radio, this goes to the outboard amplifier which will most probably be mounted behind the glove box.
7. Remove glove box (pry out the round clips).
8. Unhook cable from amp and snake it back through the center console.
9. Unplug speaker connections from amp.
10. Unbolt amp and save it along with the radio.
11. Unplug antenna cable from chassis of radio.
12. Undo the ground from radio chassis.

Install whatever you please and let me know how much you want for the Becker because I'll buy it from you for my own 6.9.
