mp3 player hookup for 107 (450SL)

I have a 70s 450SL and want to do a cheapish system that I can plug into my MP3 player.

Anyone have advice on how to do the following?

-Get a simple amp (where?) that hooks up to the 2 stock front speakers.

-Put some kind of 'tasteful' cover fitting where the radio would go. My 107 has the early 70s black console (no wood). I have the factory becker but don't want it installed in the car due to theft concerns.

-Have a cable or plug where I can plug-in my MP3 player.

Any advice?

Thanks
