Just bought a 1995 E320 the radio is flashing "code." No sign of the card. Must I go to the dealership and beg or is there someone here that can help. Must say that the ride home was not bad without the radio but I will someday like to listen to some music. Please help.

i can get the code if you can retreive the serial number from the radio case

No need to beg. The dealer should give happily you the code. They may ask for proof of ownership, so bring a title or registration card. They may even do it over the phone with the VIN.

After you get it, write it down on a number of places including the owner's manual.
