2004 E320 Antenna problem
 

Hi,

I was hoping that someone on the forum could help with a suggestion for repairing the rear windshield antenna for a 2004 E320 sedan. My father had the cover on the antenna knocked off by the security arm on a parking lot, but the antenna still functions. MB has proposed to replace the windshield for $1200 since a replacement antenna is not available.:confused:

Does anyone have an idea how this might be dealt with for less than $1200?

The 211 roof antenna is available separately. The rear glass does not have to be replaced.
