The radio in my '77 works?!
Well, the car came with the remains of what turns out to be a Becker Europa in the dash. Not surprisingly, it didn't work, but I discovered that it was merely unplugged. A little fiddling with the controls had them all working smoothly in very little time, and I figure since it's there, I'll use it until I can come up with a better sound system solution.
While I managed to find the tone control and both knobs, the chrome trimmed faceplate and the cover displaying the frequencies is long gone. By any chance does someone here happen to have a suitable donor radio? I only need trim pieces to patch this thing back together.
