Becker Silverstone in W140 : CD M E error message

Hi,

After having repaired the Bose Amp in my '92 500SEL, the trunk cd changer (Becker BE980 silverstone) does not work. The message on the Mexico display says "CD M E". I guess the "E" means error, but what about the "M" ? is there valuable info in that message that could help my troubleshooting ?

Anyone help please ?

Hi... that makes two of us with the same question

It means the magazine in the cd changer is empty, or the unit is sensing that there is no magazine inserted (even if there is one present). Hope this helps.
