rear dash (shelf) vibration

I can look back there with my stereo on, and see it vibrating...a lot. It is destroying my sound. I dynamatted the metal shelf under it, but don't think it will work on the cardboard(ish) carpeted cover. What have you guys done to silence that?

1/2 inch MDF to replace the the cardboardish deck. that is what I did.

You replaced the whole thing? That must have been a fun fit.

It not that bad, I made the it fit 6x9's and made then raised. Just used some oval woodrings to make it taller than used bondo to smooth it out, then covered it in black vinyl. You have to remove the C pillar covers to get it in and out. It fits actually very nicely, the 1/2 inch mdf is perfect for the job.

I made sheet metal holders for my 5.25" rears, and glued down some carpet to the metal.
