I own a 1992 300E with a factory Electronic Becker radio, cassette and CD trunk changer. the car has 39,000 miles. Yesterday the radio was working fine the antenna went up and down. today when I pressed the power button the antenna would not go up no sound only a code E 2 on the screen.


i checked the CD box I know it is empty it would not eject as well. Any ideas what E 2 means. I could not fine any bad fuses in the fuse box the antenna is tied to the power seat controls which work fine.


any information would be appreciated.
