cant figure this out for the life of me, help please guys.

hey guys, been lurking around this forum for a while I tried using search for hours but still nothing in regards to my issue. I installed a deck a month ago, sounds decent antenna works and everything that should. However, the lights that light up all the switched in the center console (uncluding the digital temp readout on the instrument panel) are not lighting up anymore. So, everything works fine with the audio but the fact that i dont have illumination behind my heater/ac switched/windows and that stuff in the center. Where did I go wrong please help i would really appreciate it thanks guys.

Check to see if you grounded your radio to the light supply wire.

yup finally got it working, one of my left over wires had to be connected the wire that supplies the radio with power when turned to ignition. the grey and blue one if i recall correctly.
