Radio and Antenna help:

So I got a replacement Hirschmann automatic antenna motor a few days ago, right? I install it and it works great. As I am finishing up, I notice the trunk light goes out. Upon further investigation, I found that my antenna, radio, clock and trunk light were affected. I saw that I had blown a fuse. After replacing the 8A fuse, my clock and trunk light worked, but my antenna and radio did not. The radio shows no sign of life whatsoever. Help!

So you had to rewire something?

Sounds like your fuse popped, but not before frying the antenna line that gives the signal from the radio through the switch and on to the antenna.

Id bet on the radio being the goner part. If you put 12V on the antenna pins or right on the motor, can you get some set of them to cause the motor to turn?

Ok, thank you very much! Are the fuses for the radio widely available (Autozone, etc...) or would I have to go the Mercedes dealership?
