2000 ML320 Radio/Amp Question
 

I was convinced by the Mercedes dealership that I would not notice a difference between a ML with or without the Bose package, this was due to the fact that they wanted to sell me a car which was exactly like I wanted on their lot minus the Bose package. Needless to say I have since driven a ML with the package and was very suprised by the sound quality. I have thought about adding a couple speakers, perhaps a tweeter in each side mirror mount (read this option on a previous post) and perhaps a speaker on each C pillar because the assembly seems rather hollow and would have enough space. I am afraid however that without proper amps the speakers will not produce enough sound. Is adding an amp to this system an option or would it be far too costly of a venture. Also, I read earlier that someone had a 2000 ML without the Bose package yet their screen read "Powered By Bose" and someone said that that was accomplished by entering codes into the MCS. If someone could tell me how to do that I would appreciate it. Also I recently drove a 2002 ML as a dearler loaner and noticed that the new LCD screen is black and grey instead of blue and white like on my 2000. Is this also a mere code change and can I obtain those colors on my MCS. Thank yall and sorry for the long post.
