W220 Navigation no longer mutes radio

About a week ago the radio in my '04 S500 no longer mutes when the navigation system calls out a command. I haven't changed any settings that I know of and I've read as much as possible in the literature to no avail. I've even tried restoring Factory Defaults in the radio.

Any ideas or suggestions?
