Power antenna to radio wire
Ok, one quick question I'm hoping someone can answer for me. While connecting my amp a few weeks back, I ended up accidently cutting the wire that tells the power antenna to turn on and I just went out to reconnect but I can't remember which wire it was. If someone could let me know what color the wire is that comes from the back of the radio to control the power antenna, I would really really appreciate it. (I think it goes from the stereo to the switch). There are a few open wires but I'm skeptical about just connecting it and finding out what happens.

I never seen any power antenna wire to be any other color than blue, on any car I had, even after market radios have blue to be the power antenna.
Good luck I just put in a radio and a CD changer in my car. love it so far.

It's solid blue on my car as well, but mine's much older than yours....I'd imagine it's the same, though.

check the connector
at the power antenna there's a 3-wire connector. One of them supplies the signal for the raise / lower of the antenna (pulls a relay to operate the motor), the other supplies 12V and 0V to the whole assembly.
get the three colours from the connector and then examine the cut wires for the corrsponding one ...... dunno what else. at the back of the radio, the antenna signal wire is yellow ... hope it helps ... L |

if you post this under car audio you might get more specific replies as there are installers who monitor that forum. anyway, the wire is usually blue, i found mine to be that color but it had a black sheath on it. on my car at least, i found that the antenna turn on was a separate circuit, with its own lead and ground wire separate from the ground connector in the power plug (drove me nuts for awhile)...
