Contacted Becker Autosound about replacing the 1432 radio in my 93 300E with one of their plug and play ones. They asked if the amplifiers were full amps or bass amps only. Would think they would know that. Anyone have any idea?

124s in the early 90s could have had 2 different systems, standard active bass with 1 amp or the upgrade "full sound system' with 2 full range amps. Original owner could have upgraded. Only way to know is to look in the trunk behind the passenger side panel and see how many amps you have.

Thanks for the reply. That answered it. There are two amps in the trunk.
