Larger speakers generally will tend to offer better midbass response, and can move a correspondingly larger volume of air. That said, I'm pretty amazed these days the kind of frequency response manufacturers are getting out of quite small speakers. I'd choose a high-quality 4" before a cheap 5 1/4" any day of the week.

Thanks i dont really need the midbass i have a sub but the sub is overtaking every speaker.

Have any one tried speakers from hertz?

Unless your sub's LPF is set unreasonably high, you're not getting any midbass out of it. That's the job of the front soundstage.
