Alpine PXA-H600 Question
Can I only use this with a front and rear system with sub or also with a two-way front system and a sub?
My plan is to put a coaxial 4" in the stock dash position with a separate amp and in each door two 6" midbass speakers also powered by a separate amp and ofcourse a trunk mounted subwoofer. I would like to know if the Alpine PXA-H600 will allow me to time-align the coaxials, midbasses and subwoofer with each other. Also can the PXA-H600 be fully controlled from a Ai-Net capable Alpine headunit or do you have to use the included remote as well? Flavio

The functions available on the HU are limited to adjusting subwoofer output and recalling memories in the PXA (such as levels, time alignment, etc) to make any adjustments, you have to access the PXA controller. I wired mine into/through the rear console, so it's somewhat accessible-it'll reach all the way to the front seats, so when I'm done making adjustments I coil it up & stow it in the rear console.
As to time-alignment, the device aligns all speakers it controls to a single location-in my case I aligned to my head (you suspend a small microphone where you want the reference point to be). It'll work with with either configuration you describe.
