Quicky question-'82 300D antenna at head unit?
I am looking to replace my head unit with something more modern and want to know if the antenna plug is the normal one that will plug into any modern head unit. I know the plug at the motorized antenna in the truck is different so that is why I am asking about the one at the head unit.
Thanks.

Yes, it is a standard motorola connector at the radio end.

Thanks. I wound up taking it all out and installing a new CD player. Very easy swap, I couldn't believe how nice it went in there. It was fun figuring out the way to by-pass the fader control, but once I had all the wiring in front of me it made sense. The guy at Circuit City told me I would have to run all new wires, so I am glad that I did not listen to him.
BTW, I went w/ a Kenwood head unit, 4" Kenwood fronts, and 5 1/4" Bazooka rears. It sounds real nice. I forgot to hook up the wire for the antenna so I had to take it all back out again, but it was no big deal.
