2003 W203 CD Changer

Dear all,
I was wondering where I can find cd changer for cheap.
The dealer wanted me to pay 900 dollars. Anytips or concerns will be helpful.

I'm in the same boat. I've seen quite a few on Ebay. Be careful, as there are several model #'s for the fiber optic changer. I believe the W203 part number is A-203-820-9089. Average price is about $400. This is the glove box mounted unit.

You need the changer and also the bracket. There is also a fiber optics link you will need to connect the fiber optics to the fiber optics ring. There are 2 different fiber optic connectors, one if you have BOSE system, one for if you don't. BOSE is standard on C320, optional on C240. Kind of a tough install, as the wood trim around the radio area (climate control, etc) needs to be removed to remove the radio, which needs to be done to connect the changer to the fiber optics ring. Also the dealer will still need to reconfigure the electronics in the radio (fiber optics parameters) to reflect the addition of the changer.
