W202 optic and non-optic Bose amp conpatibility

I’d like to replace the optic input Bose amp in my 202 wagon with a line input Bose amp like in my 210 wagon. I want to upgrade the stereo without changing the speakers. Will a 210 Bose amp work with 202 Bose speakers?

Is there an option to convert line or pre-amp outputs from an aftermarket stereo to an optic signal?
