Buying from Scott/La Jolla Audio
I recently purchased an Alpine 630 CD changer and the related PIE connector from Scott at LaJolla Audio for my daughter's 190E. I paid about $35 over what I could have paid with one of the volume internet discounters, inlcuding shipping.
Scott, of course, was very helpful in confirming that the 630 would plug and play with her OEM radio unit, promptly filled the order and shipped it safely, and was available for consultation with my installer if needed (install was easy, so no need). While I could have saved $35, I thought that it was important to support Scott, who has generously given of his time and advice on this forum. If we don't support our sponsors and professionals who provide so much useful advice, their incentive to help us on this board will naturally be diminished. You may pay a bit extra for good service, but what goes around comes around.

Low prices and no customer service isn't value. But a decent price and great customer service. Now thats value.
I would rather pay a bit more and get the great service, than pay less and have to deal with people that basically don't care because they already have my money. Keep up the good work scott and LJAudio. youe help here is greatly appreciated, and your knowledge is plentiful and always right on the money. Alon

Thanks you guys! I am always happy to help when I can! Keep in mind have have cleeve from my repair shop online too. He works on MBZ radios and electronics day in and day out so don't hessitate to use his knowledge also.

I agree too... I would install an awesome sound system in my car if he was in my area.. maybe if you visit Boston?

I knew a guy that had this sign on his desk:
Quality Service Price Pick Any Two of the Three... Too true. Besides, the $35 premium was CHEAP. That's pretty much the same price in my books...
