Audio 10 CD optical bluetooth

Im have an old ml and im looking for the best way to integrate bluetooth into my old Radio. I found an adapter that plugs into the optical port and emulates an cd changer. The website said i could need some programing. Not sure what to expect.
Does anyone have experience with this or does anybody have a better solution?

I want to keep the Audio 10 CD and through the adapter i would be able to accept calls and skip song by the buttons on the radio. Is something similar without programming possible?
