99' E320 CD Changer problems
 

My CD changer is the vertical type.

When I insert the tray, it does not lock up in place. It just pops right out.

Sometimes if I keep it pressed with my hand, it seems to cycle through all the Cds, activating and playing the first CD...But after that CD plays completely, the tray pops out again.

Any one had this problem?....Do I need to change the complete unit?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

I've worked on lots of this type of sound system, this is an unusual problem. I would have to say the changer needs either repair or replacement. There is a repair program, someone at the dealership should be able to set you up.
No warranty left on the car? If it was dealer-installed and the car is still under warranty, it should be covered.
