Radio problemo 94 C280
Well, he-he.....my hat off to the wrenches that work on these babes fer a living! Just went through a 8 hour learning curve on the EGR clean out. W-H-E-W!..MERCY! done. it was less than 'bout 30 % clogged and used a speedo cable to rod it out and is back together. My brilliant ineptness is overcome by my own brilliance.....two Heinekens later I reconnect the battery and enter the wrong radio code...now it says "WAIT" hmmmmmm.....did I do it to mah-sef again and have to visit my MB tech or will leaving the battery disconnected overnight reset it for the right code?
![]() ![]() The disconnect of the battery did reset the CE lamp and did a read on the Italian tune-up seem we have a high milage city car so the EGR clean out I'm sure will help and I will take her to Houston to clean her out..... ![]() ![]() Thanks for any tip on resetting the radio...the boss will be really unhappy when she finds out 'bout the radio ![]() ![]() |

Leon,
Let the stereo sit for an hour with the battery connected. Try to enter the correct code again when if says "CODE" If you lost the code you can ask your dealer for it. Regards, Don
