Just bought 1986 190E 2.3. Stereo Upgrade recommendations?

Well I am new to this forum along with newly acquired 1986 190E 2.3. This is a great, relaible car by the way.

Here's my plan for upgrading the stereo system and would like anyone's opinion about my choices.

Will replace head unit with Alpine 9805 - Since this HU is plain and simple, it will keep the MB classic look but still get an upgrade from the Becker.

Front speakers will be replaced with Infinity Kappa 43.3I

Rear speakers - still undecided if I want to cut into my new benz to get better, bigger (6x9) speakers. Any suggestions?

I also have a fairly new Bazooka bass tube (RS) that I was considering to add to the car (maybe trunk location?)

Given these options, does anyone recommend a specific amplifier brand? How much power do I need if all I really want is a cleaner sound from all speakers rather than play music for everyone in my block!

Thanks for reading my post!

RBH
