Where Is The Cd Connection?

I just bought a 96 E320 and will want to install a CD changer like I did in my 95 E420. The radios looks the same but I haven't seen the cable connection anywhere in the trunk. Any recommendations for locating it or do I just need to pull out the rear seat?
Also, any recommendations for a CD changer - looking for reliability and compatibility with the existing system. I had great luck with a no-name brand I put in the 420 that I bought from a place in NC that advertises in Panorama.
Thanks!

It's fairly easy to find, just remove the trunk trim on the left (drivers side) of the trunk, it's nylon wire-tied to the fender bracing, or may just be laying down towards the bottom of the bootleg.

I'm not into all this stereo stuff, but one advantage to the MB changer is that the radio will operate the changer in the normal way. Maybe there are other changers which the factory radio will also integrate with.

There are two different alpine cd changers with an adapter that will work perfectly in your car... I have them and all the parts including the brackets if needed.

Gilly - thanks - I saw your similar reply to Dom Serrano after I did a search - sorry to make extra work.
I note you live right up the road from parents (Janesville) - if I have any problem beyond my abilities, I'll look you up next trip back home.
Cheers, Denny

That's OK Denny, it's normally easier to go ahead and answer the question again rather than try looking up the old thread. Everyone likes to have that "personal touch" anyways.
I'm not "wrenching" at the moment, I sent you an email concerning this.

Gilly
