'94 C280 (W202) Replacement?
OK, the car has a Bose system in it, without the CD Changer. It's soon to be my daughter's car. She hates the idea of a trunk mounted CD player. Anyone replaced their unit with a decent, but inexpensive unit with a CDplayer/tuner?

I replaced mine with a Nakamichi MB100 "Music Bank". It is a 6-cd, in-dash player.
It is unbelieveably good, but also outrageously expensive at $2,200. You have to consider whether or not the speakers, head unit, antena are wired to the Bose amp. If it is in the trunk, and the above are, then you might have to see if your new in-dash cd player / receiver can be run off of the Bose amp. If it can't, you'll have to either buy a new amp, or rewire the speakers and antena to the head unit.
