radio code

The wallet cards in the owners manual aren't there for the radio code. Can you possibly tell me how I can get the code now? Any help would be appreciated.

Identify vehicle by V.I.N. , engine and tranny #'s

It's a late 1992 300E. It's not hard to come up with the VIN, but where would I find the engine # & the tranny #? Thanks

You can ask a dealer to do a VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry) and the radio code should be on that.
