Black finish

A new-to-me '97 black C280 Sport with AMG wheels joins the family this week. It has been beautifully kept and the MB dealer is really polishing it for delivery.
What do you recommend for Black finishes?
The car will be parked outside in New England weather.
What about the matte black door handles and wiper arm, etc?
What about the black "composite" panels inside and the matching B pillars?

Congratulations on your new car. Chris Ecklund hit the nail on the head. Search the Shop Forum archives and give the Meguiar's banner a click.

Since the finish is so new you will likely only need a once over with Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #7 followed by a either Mirror Glaze #26 wax or Gold Class liquid wax.

For black trim and whatnot you can use endurance (aka the new tire dressing), Vinylex by Lexol, or even #26 wax if the surface being waxed is VERY clean. You will not want to get/leave the Gold Class on the dark trim as it tends to leave a white haze. The Gold Class does seem to do a marginally better job on the paint vs the venerable #26.
