Plan to do complete detail job over the weekend on black 1988 300E that was purchased with a lot of swirl marks.

It is the original paint and have accessed the Meguiars website and have their plan of attack.

Would this vehicle likley have clear coat if I use Meguiars product for this?

I have an orbital buffer but have little expierrience. Do I apply or buff off the wax with the buffer. Please help... MIke

Please do a search of the shop forum's archives via the search button in the top right hand corner of your screen. I have posted the swirl and detailing tactics, product recommendations, little tricks, etc on several occasions. Not to mention I've had the excellent advice and support of other shop forum members.
