Child Seat in Middle

I want to place our Britax child seat in the middle. Talked to the dealer about installing top tether anchors (required here in Canada if the car seat has it). He said it can be done only for the outboard positions but not the middle. We have 3 anchors on our E430, but the C230K has that first aid kit box in the middle just like the W124's. Does anyone know if it is possible to install an upper anchor for the middle position?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the c-class or that child seat but..... If the rear seat seat pulls out like a W124... pull it out and you could attach the tethers(don't know what they look like either)to the existing seatbelt bolts. You can get another set of seat belts or swage/bulldog some cable to the seatbelt anchor bolts also. You could also add some bolts on the trunk bulk head package shelf height and attach there also. My only concern about running the tethers down to the existing seat belt bolts is the directional stress would be placed at the top of the seat back before the anchor bolt. Adding bolts at the package shelf height would be the best IMO. Again without pictures or knowing what you got it's guess work from this keyboard
