Bumper scuff removal

I have this nasty scuff on my bumper which I can't get off. I have tried back to black and it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Try majic eraser. Found in the grocery store, cleaning isle. It is an abrasive, mite remove the scuff. Worth $4 to at least try

I have discovered some scuff marks on my rear bumper. I'm pretty sure how I did it - I was hoovering the boot and the hose from the vacuum cleaner was rubbing against the bumper. What would be the best way to remove/disguise them?

I have some Scratch X, would that be any good?

I could also do with some advice on how to use my, as of yet unused, PC polisher. What pads should I use to apply wax and then remove it? I've been very careful during washing. So far there are very few, if any, swirl marks. (Apart from the aforementioned bumper.)

Thanks in advance.
