Question for woodworking pros.

What is the best brand of clear, gloss oil based polyurethane?

It turns out Imron 500S will work for me.

I saw a jet wood grain panel which had three coats of the 500S on it. The finisher cut and buffed the panel and it looked like glass.

I'll post pictures of my w126 wood grain parts here in a week or two. I have several irons in the fire including stripping the finish off the front seat leather, softening them with the product sold by Colorplus and shooting a couple coats of SEM Surecoat dye.
