W124 Interior trim question

Hi Everyone,

I just picked up a 1989 260E that has missing/broken interior parts and I had some questions:

- Did the interior color schemes change from earlier, pre- facelift w124s? My car is a light grey.
- I am missing the driver's side B-pillar cover- Did this part change at all from '86 to '95?
- My arm rest cover is open on the back, is there a trick to closing it back up again? (sorry if this isn't a clear description)

I am sure more issues will pop up as I look at the car (have to repair the drivers seat springs) but I am excited to tackle a new project!

I have the same car with grey blue inside .The saloons, estates, and coupe were sold in a lot of colours . As far as i know they are all the same exept the facelift on the front grill and bonnet and the planking or saco pannels on the body lower 1/4 ,but the interior are all the same . use this manual its free so many owners use it . To find it you will need to Google this --- Model 124 Maintenence Manual Index.---- yours will be M103

the center console configuration changed as did the glove box (94-95 don't have one).....also the material on the door panels is different, i forget what they call it but it is a loose fit material....and appears like it has waves in it.
