QUESTION ON GLOW PLUG R AND R Having changed out number 1 cylinder glow plug the question is Does the intake manifold have to be removed in order to change the final 5 cylinder glow plugs. Want to finish this job this is the time of year that i use this car thanks tag

I don't know if it HAS to come off but it sure makes the job easier.

I am about to change the glow plugs on my car. I will need to take off the intake manifold. Which gaskets, o rings etc, do I need ? Thanks. Please help.

To Answer Your Question I Did Manage To Change Out Glow Plugs Without Removing The Intake You Will Need 1/4 Drive Sockets 6 Point Also I Taped The Glow Plugs Into Sockets To Avoid Loss Also I Taped Nut Which Holds Wires On Glow Plugs To Avoid Dropping Them It Went Well I've Been Working On Mercs For A While So I Hope This Helps Youy With The Decision Tag
