Because of this site I own a 300d a 300sd a 240d and now am looking for an old 190d so I don’t get any more speeding tickets. I can’t imagine ever owning another car that’s not an MBZ diesel. I just intend to get older and slower cars with more character. And better yet there cheap where I live too think 2 years ago I was happy with a new Saturn every few years, It never would have happened without your help. And for once all my cars run well including the 1976 240d in perfect cosmetic shape runs good except reverse cost me all of $200. If the previous owner new of this site he would have had it fixed in a day like I did. Thank you all!!!!

I too dig this place. I've already gotten in way over my head but I figure I've performed about $1200 worth of service on my '83 300d in the last week based on info I've gleened from this forum at a cost of about $50 in junkyard parts.
