i need to get a motor for my front drivers side. i was told theres 3 different ones. the price depends on how many tooth the gear is. im not sure how many mine is and i was wondering if any one knows what the standared size is?
any info would be greatly appreciated

I have some good motors from bad regulator assy's that I've taken apart, cleaned, check brushes and re-assy'd with synthetic grease. If you can take a pic of yours, I can try to match up a part for you.

I recently changed my window regulator on the driver's side door. I have an '83 300SD. The motor was the 14 toothed gear motor. My car was manufactured 5/83 so, I would hedge, if your car was manufactured before this date, you have the 14 toothed gear motor as well. The only way to be sure is to take the panel off and look. This is not a difficult task and will save you some headache in the long run.

I recently saw some "new" ones on ebay for $68.95.
