Inner Dimensions of a 300TD
Dear Diesel Demons:
A friend of mine is looking to retire his aging Honda Civic and perhaps go diesel. He's a carpenter and sometimes needs to haul sheetrock and plywood in 4' x 8' sheets. Anyone know how well these will fit in a 300TD with the seats folded down? Anyone have the inner dimensions, wheelwell to wheelwell and from the back of the front seats to the tailgate? I've put 4'x8' sheets of plywood in the back of mine but they had to go in on an angle and I couldn't shut the tailgait.
It is amazing however that they can be hauled. Don

Width between wheel wells at floor: 37.8"
Length with rear seats folded down: 70.2" You can get some 6"-8" additional length by removing the rear seat bottoms.
