What is the likelihood of Oil Pump Chain failure?

After reading the post regarding the 602 oil pump chain failure, I am a bit concerned. I believe that the 606 engines use either the same (or a mildly revised) version of the same engine block architecture as the 602 & 603, (but obviously different pistons & cylinder head). It would then seem logical that they also use the same oil pump & chain as well.

Question: Is oil pump drive chain failure a fairly common occurrence on 602/603’s with high mileage?

I just spent a lot of money on rebuilding my cylinder head, and even with 335,000 miles you could still see the original honing marks in the cylinder walls. So I figure I’m ready to roll along to 500,000+ miles with this car. It would really *suck* to have the oil pump chain ruin my grandiose plans. Opinions Please? Is this a legitimate thing for me to worry about, or do I need to up my dosage of anti-obsessive medications?
