Sold the 87 300d now have a BMW 325I

Hello folks,

I am sad to be looking at other forums other than this one for information. The bmw forums seem good but not as good as this one is. Some brave soul came up from kentucky to chicago to buy my 87 300d. I am proud of a guy like that and I hope that his actions will be rewarded as the car he got I thought was pretty good.

Now I have a BMW 325i, 1987, and let me tell you good old MB boys that the BMW 325i seems thus far to be a great little car. I gave it a tune up, it had a fouled plug and what a difference. It has near effortless excelleration. The car seems to be simple to boot. Not too much electronic to go bad on the e30. electronic fuel injection is less of a mystery now and I am satisfied with the fuel economy i was getting 24 around town on 5 cylinders I am sure that it will do better now. I do miss the simplicity of the the w123 when I got the w124. I think that with the e30 I got the simplicity back as well as the drivability of the w124. So to make a long post short I miss all of your advice and help and no doubt about it this forum is one of the best, most mature, forums on the net.

Thanks alot

bob
