Adjusting Turbo boost? How to do it?

Hi, folks! I believe this has probably been covered, but I can't find it. Basically, I believe that this concerns the "needle-valve" adjustment on top of the rear of the injection pump. Also, I believe that the ALDA tubing and its connector(s) figures into the equation as well. Tomorrow, I'm going to clean the ALDA tubing and its pressure fitting on the rear of the exhaust manifold. I know that this valve can become clogged over time (and mine probably is). Seems I've read that once the ALDA tubing has been cleaned and that pressure fitting is up to snuff, the turbo boost really gets a new lease on life.

Can someone confirm this? I'd sure appreciate it...

It isn't that the turbo gets a new lease on life. Once you clean your fittings and tubing, the ALDA can properly sense the pressure changes in your manifold and adjust fuel delivery. The ALDA really has nothing to do with adjusting the boost pressure. If you want to adjust boost pressure you can do it like this..........

Remember, once you install the controller, proper adjustments must be made to the ALDA to add more fuel. If not the controller is installed for nothing.
