P0100 Trouble Code--Mass Air

My vehicle is a 1998 E300 Turbodiesel. My dash readout indicates there is trouble with the Engine Electronics. My code reader indicates there is a Mass Air Flow Circuit Malfunction (P0100).

I need help about what to look for.

All help will be most appreciated.
