if he changed the motor 3 times, doesn't that mean 4 motors? even so, its nearly 750,000 miles per engine. not too shabby

He actually recycled the three moters 11 times. They gave hime a new car for the donation......See below.....

The chrome horseshoe

Maybe the lucky horseshoe on his grille helped.

I've seen those on German Mercedes, cars, G wagens, etc.Luftwaffe WW2 truck, but no one seems to know where the custom came from and why only on German owned cars. Anyone?
