Question Th' dohicky on top of my 240D IP has a vac

port that is not hooked up. Can't find a diagram or picture that depicts it. There are more vac lines that disappear thru th' firewall that are not connected. Having a time figuring things out - all help greatly appreciated.

Th' car is a 1977 240D, runs & drives fine

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Ada?

Check out this thread:

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=102085

This unit is also on a 240D and the "port" is not for any vacuum line. It is just the inlet to the ADA for atmospheric pressure.

Maybe you have the same thing?

How is th' fuel flow shut off at ign key off position? There is a vac(or is that fuel?) line connected to an assy on th' rear of th' IP & I don't know what that does either....

Thanks all. I found, thru search, something about

vacuum from key switch to IP. Now I'll try to learn more about that as my emergency shutdown at th' pump does nothing.
