Th' dohicky on top of my 240D IP has a vac
port that is not hooked up. Can't find a diagram or picture that depicts it. There are more vac lines that disappear thru th' firewall that are not connected. Having a time figuring things out - all help greatly appreciated.
Th' car is a 1977 240D, runs & drives fine Thanks in advance, Jim |

Manual or Auto ?
123 or 115 ? check first numbers in VIN to determine if you are not sure.. |

Ada?
Check out this thread:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=102085 This unit is also on a 240D and the "port" is not for any vacuum line. It is just the inlet to the ADA for atmospheric pressure. Maybe you have the same thing? |

Thanks, Brian & others. My next newbie ? is:
How is th' fuel flow shut off at ign key off position? There is a vac(or is that fuel?) line connected to an assy on th' rear of th' IP & I don't know what that does either....

Thanks all. I found, thru search, something about
vacuum from key switch to IP. Now I'll try to learn more about that as my emergency shutdown at th' pump does nothing.
