affordable is relative. Most nearly all parts available from Fastlane and others are less than asdit IMHO. I have wondered about their rebuilt transmissions for about $1200, but then I would deny myself the opportunity to do it myself.

I wasn't going to post this but, a particular parts Co. with the initials P.P. is selling on line Bilstein shocks for $20.00 each (w123) cheaper than most advertise. We want to support our sponsor but money saved __
An aside, an English classic car mag talked to classic car parts dealers and they were predicting a very bleak business future due to the fact drivers aren't putting on mileage(unlike us) and wearing out parts.

Wow English car parts suppliers are getting worried they will be out of business? What happend to all of the good British iron out their?
