How many miles are on the original set??
This is something I'm thinkin of doing on the 240D, knowing increased performance and fuel economy will pay for itself over time with skyrocketing fuel prices. |

New or rebuilt? How much were they? Did you have them pressure popped and the spray pattern checked?
Thanks David

I used rebuilts that I bought from Phil@fastlane. Didn't check 'em, just slapped them in and fired her up.
I had about 225,000 miles on the originals, 1977 300D. It will be interesting to see if there is any impact on mileage as the car is already getting in the 25mpg range. JCD |

Good for you. I installed my injectors straight out of the box and the car ran worse. I took them out and sent them to TOMJ for balancing and pop testing. They all had bad spray patterns except one due to the fact that all the nozzles were made in INDIA. Once they came back from being blanaced the car ran much much better and idled better as well.
