THANK YOU ShopForum!!!

I would just like to officially thank everyone on here for helping me out, even if you didnt know that you did...

My 93 300D sat for almost 3 months this summer(the alternator was shot)...during that time, the battery died, got an S430 alternator(150 amp compared to my stock 70 amp) and Optima Yellow top...installed both and started her up...

She shook like crazy for about 20 mins or so then calmed down a bit, little by little the shaking went away...aside from the shaking, the ABS light came on and the Turbo seemed like it was dying...i have a guage hooked up and the needle now peeked at 6 psi when before it peeked at 16...

got used to driving her that way, shaking calmed down to very minimal...one day, while sifting through this site...i read a post of about someone's ABS light came on and car shook after getting jump started...sounded familiar...read through, heard about this OVP relay...did more research...

finally yesterday, i decide to look at mine...i removed the cover, located the the OVP relay...pulled out the 10 amp fuse to find it blown...replaced it with new, started her up, NO MORE SHAKING OR ABS LIGHT! WOOOOO WOOOOO!!!

took her for a ride, coasting up the street, i punched it...I heard that turbo spool and and saw the needle jump to 16 psi and i almost creamed myself...MY BABY IS BACK!!!!

she's running like a champ again, i even think she is a bit faster then she used to be...i'll have to take her down to the track again and see how i do...only after i check out the other thing that this board has taught me, the hard shifting due to possible Vacuum leak in tranny, have to get under her and check it out...

anyways, THANK YOU ALL SOOOO much for all your past, present, and hopefully future help...

Sincerely,
Mario A.
