Noted familiar rattle when watching one in a film...I know the Black Cabs are being phased out (along with the diesel double-decker bus) but would like to know who built the power plant for the Black Cabs, and who built the cabs themselves...it was Austin for a LONG time.

Any other comments on this subject would be appreciated. I'd assume these engines were "good" ones.

Think the diesel engine in the later ones was Nissan sourced same as in the Terrano.
