Old pre 1981 A/C servo cheap fix for sale...

I just got my new Performace Products catalog in the mail today, and I saw an ad in there for this new "digital" servo that will replace the old troublesome servos, which go for over $1K from MB and usually, some people pay over and near $2K after labor for the MB servo, well, this kit costs $600. The catalog is not with me now, but that is all I can remember, it mentioned the W116, maybe the W107, but the pre 81 W123 was mentioned for sure. Has anyone else seen or heard about this as well?

Someone posted this a few weeks ago. I already rebuilt my system last year however. Sounds good however.

I saw those when they first came out at Perfomance Products and seriously considered one, however $700 is worth as almost at much as my car . Instead I just bypassed my AC Servo last night with a ball valve and some fittings for $20. It works great for controlling the heat, all I need to do is pop the hood, and adjust the valve when I get to hot or two cold. I figure I can set the temp and leave it... However I still need to work out some bugs with the AC Servo itself (battery drain issues) and the vacuum lines.
