A Hummer H2, the dumbest vehicle on the road.

The styling makes me think of those really cheap stereo systems, where the plastic case is molded to make it look as if it's stacked separates, and for some reason there are frequency response graphs printed on top of the speaker enclosures. The goal appears to be to fool you into thinking it's something that it isn't...

I thought the Citroen DS was really cool looking as a kid:

Here's one I'd rather not be seen in

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4500584308&category=6152
-----------------------------------
It would be even creepier with a backhoe attachment on the back.

The Pontiac Aztek is undoubtably the ugliest thing made in the US recently.

I am sure that rusting away in the fringes of Irkutsk there is a Chaika hearse, which would perhaps be uglier. But rareness adds character, so you never know.

One Tatra is interesting, but a plethora of Tatras would cause eyeball overload.

Man oh man, I love the Dodge Magnum.

I would trade the 240D in a heart beat if they had offered the 6 cyl CDI MB diesel engine. The Magnum is a MB E320 wagon chassis with a dodge body & engine. Even the radio and the electronic's is MB. I tried to talk the wife into trading her Jetta TDI for a magnum, but she's not that crazy about the car. I also like the big 300C by Chrysler, which is also a MB chassis with Chrysler body & engine.

You are with me there. I would hop on the Magnum in an instant if I felt comfortible enough inthe job market to risk taking out a loan. The 300C is just like the Magnum with a trunk as a sedan version.

You'll never see me in:
  • A civilian Humvee...
  • Or an Escalade with the gold trip, my lord.
  • An Aztec (Pontiac?) -- so ugly! And I always think of Pontiacs as plastic cars that squeak, creak, and lose their exterior trim inside of 50,000 miles.
  • A corvette -- my family always had corvettes 'back in the day', but now when I see someone driving a newer (80s and beyond) 'vette I think 'midlife crisis' But the late 60s and 70s era ones, that still had the curvy body style -- I'd drive one of those.

I rather like the new Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum styling - very retro, and the Magnum at least is very utilitiarian inside. They make me think of those old hot-rodders ZZ Top used to have in their videos. I test-drove a Magnum a few weeks ago while having some work done on the Jeep and they drive nicely with plenty of power. Didn't get to try the Hemi, unfortunately, hard to find those in stock anywhere to test, they sell very quickly I'm told.

VVV I had a 2000 Saturn SC2, put over 70,000 miles on it before I sold it (after buying the Jeep), and never had the first problem with it. They're plastic, yeah, but they're not bad considering they're American-made economy cars.

My dislikes were more or less well stated above by Webwench.

I for one, would love to get my hands on an earlier D-model Citroen. Not because I love the styling so much , but because the car was such an engineering "tour de force" when it came out in the mid-50s. I haven't been able to find a rust-free example here in over 10 years and I'm not willing to buy anything expensive sight -unseen on ebay.

Talking A Porsch

After working on them for years, IMHO; yuck is my nice response.

I may have to test drive them, but will never own one, unless I convert it to a 617 turbo. LOL

Chevy Cadaver. Bad as a hearse and less comfortable, as if that would matter for the passenger in a hearse....

Oh come on the 1988 Fiero SE 6 cylinder was a nice car............nice looking and handled nice. Shame the insurance industry killed it off by makeing it unaffordible to the very people who wanted it.
